Not moaning today: We've got wall to wall sunshine as a slight onshore breeze is pushing the clouds inland leaving the coastal strip clear. A common effect here.

Changeable in London today.
The sun is out full blast now, as I type this. Ten minutes ago, it was almost pitch black and that's been pretty much how the whole day has been today.
Glorious day today, expected to rise to 25C later on.
September got off to a good start.
Looks like a good weekend. Time to dust down the barbecue for Sunday afternoon.
How did the barby go, Heero?
Very nice weather yesterday, probably got up to around 25C and similar today. And if we were in any doubt about the weather this summer, this confirms how hot this year has been:
2018 was the joint hottest summer on record for the UK as a whole, and the hottest ever for England, the Met Office has announced.
It said highs for summer 2018 were tied with those of 1976, 2003 and 2006 for being the highest since records began in 1910.
How did the barby go, Heero?
Perfect. Hardly a breath of wind so it was easy to control the heat and make sure things were properly cooked.
A very nice day here now that stubborn high cloud has dissolved. No breeze again today so the 22C feels warmer.
Outlook says that it's going to get much cooler with NW winds and rain by the end of the week.
Cooler weather in London today and talking of chills, I'm just watching PMQs and there's a definitely chill in the air at Westminster too.
We're on the edge of the clear skies over Hampshire and Dorset. Hazy sunshine now and then and around 19C. Light breeze so not a bad day.
Send the sun to me please, Heero.
Well, got the sun today in London and very nice it was too. After a dull, cooler day yesterday, today has been very warm. Even tonight with all my windows open in my house, the temperature is 25C.
Long range forecasts for the rest of the month are partial sun most days with temperatures averaging 20-21C. I'll take that!
Looks like we're in for a decent day right here on the coast.
Bit windy where I am, but sunny.
What a contrast there is today to yesterday. Warm and sunny yesterday, cooler and wet today.
Forecast says it could linger here on the coast all day. Dull and drizzly at the moment. Didn't get much sun yesterday either.
Still hoping for an Indian summer later this month otherwise it'll be a long dismal drag to Christmas.
Had a great September so far and the sun is just breaking through. Forecast of temperatures up to 25C in next few days.
I've spent more time in my garden in the last two weeks, than I have the whole of summer. That continuous 30C+ heat that went on for week after week was terrible and unlike you, there was no breeze most of the time either. It was just like a oven - a true Indian summer in that sense.
Another great day of sun and warmth in London today and this evening is very muggy again. In the coolest part of my house it's currently 78C and that's with loads of windows open.
currently 78C
I hope you meant °F.
Bloody windy down here this morning: Blown over one of my troughs. Had to wedge another pot against it. I hate windy weather.
Same here, Heero. It's mild, but with a very strong wind. I've taken shelter in the house. The garden can wait until I stop getting battered with leaves that are being blown off the trees.
I'm getting a bit of that ex-hurricane too, but it's still dry and pretty warm.
Storm Ali is coming in over Scotland tomorrow so it'll stay windy. On the plus side it's also going to stay warm.
