Somewhere in the east, very east.

Raining where I am for the first time in months!
Good.
I had a bit of rain a few days ago and will get some more a bit later on today, but otherwise pretty dry in London.
Blooming chilly this morning, got a sweatshirt on for the first time in months.
Cold, windy and raining (on and off) here.
We had a little sprinkle and my sister-in-law was so excited she phoned me to see if I'd had any rain
It has settled some of the dust. Hope more will come now. The air is so dry I was getting shocks from touching things and my hair was sticking to my face with static. Even the dog's tail tip was freaking out
Autumn has arrived
Autumn has arrived
Certainly has, but apart from the brief heat on the bank holidy it really started at the beginning of August. My younger sister always reckoned that the Autumnal storms started on her birthday (12th August).
Oddly, even here in London, it's cooled down somewhat. Not as bad as what the rest of you are getting with average temperatures of around 18-20C most days, but a lot cooler than it's been.
After some rain yesterday, looks like it will be dry today.
Needed the heater on (low) in the car this morning. A bit chilly. Sunny periods.
We've also gone back to chilly again.
Lovely and warm in London and I'm just in the middle of something now, but I have spent two hours gardening this morning in the sunshine, more about that in the gardening thread later.
Just under 18 degrees here, hazy sun and breezy so it strikes quite cool. Sweatshirt again today.
Cooler and wet today, but the sun will be back tomorrow, hopefully.
Blimey! Had to put some jeans today to go to the supermarket. Really chilly. Hopefully the sun returns soon though the forecast is for changeable all week.
Looks like it's goodbye shorts weather for you now

Forecast is to become warmer towards the weekend and more settled. Not quite over for the shorts yet.
Good luck, shorts!

Hope! Not in the Capital, where the streets are paved with gold and the sun shines all the time. Well, most of the time.
A cool, autumnal damp start, but for me, September is the best time of the year weather wise in London. It will go up to 25C by the weekend and is sunny right now and the warmth just cranking up again.
With a few exceptions, London weather is pretty decent from March to mid/end of October.
Ah, I never read the next reply before I replied. What Heero said.
