The question of a customs border in Ireland was raised before the referendum, there was no satisfactory answer then & there still isn’t .

Clearly by supporting Brexit against the majority in NI the DUP we’re trying to scupper the Good Friday agreement.

The agreement was always a fudge which allowed people to identify as Irish or British all made possible by EU membership.

Trusted trader schemes, bar code labelling and a separation of goods bound for the UK and those bound for the south are some of the solutions we have put forward. But no, the EU continues to demand reams and reams of paperwork for every consignment, and some of the paperwork is rejected if completed with the wrong colour ink. How you can continue to defend these EU wreckers is a mystery to me.

Brexit is a fiasco , Even the Front National in France whilst critical of the EU are not in favour of leaving.

Their behaviour was shameful, and when I think back to the shambles they created in the House of Commons, and how they worked with the EU to sabotage the whole operation, I am so ashamed of this seditious behaviour by these establishment militants.

But now that we are out of the EU, we can start to rectify some of the mess that was created due to the remainers. They were the ones who forced BJ’s hand, and he now needs to get on top of it.

Under the EU, immigration was not being controlled and our ability to maximise the opportunities of trading with the rest of the world were being stunted. Our real genius in this country is services, our biggest revenue earner, but time and again, the EU refused to include services as part of any trade deals being negotiated. This is just one example of how the EU was a constraint to our wealth-earning capacity.

The EU bureaucratic machine was also clearly determined to create as many obstacles to business as it could, and the GDPR was just one example of that.

Brexiteers have always been aware that an adjustment period was required before the benefits of Brexit would be noticeable, so remainers need to get in quick if they want to believe remainer mantra that Brexitis a disaster. They will not get away with that for much longer.

You can say what you like about Boris. He is achieving things right under your nose and you can’t even see it.

Johnson is not helping matters but EU will stick the boot in no matter what. The EU has a relationship with us like we do the French.

I have worked in many places around Europe all under the EASA regulations & it’s always the Brits who have the most extreme interpretation of these regulations.

It’s how this country is wired.

I’m all for clearing some red tape but the reality is that it’s a more difficult thing to do than people imagine.

If you had not noticed we have had lots of PM's over the years different Political Parties, fast forward to today what the hell is a weak Democracy ?

It took an awful long time to for ordinary people to be allowed to vote , even longer for women to be allowed to vote, which bit of the majority voted for Brexit do you not understand ? that was democracy in action , the Tories are in power because that is what the majority of voters wanted again that is democracy in action.

Since Brexit we have had three different PM's Cameron May and now Boris , the unelected nameless faceless pen pushers in Brussels and some leaders of different countries within the EU that have made it as difficult as possible for all three of them to come to a sensible agreement and still are.

You can only make any deal if the other party involved wants to make a deal that suits all involved, the EU does not want to make a deal with us full stop, the EU is frightened others will follow our lead, which would weaken the EU and their drive for a Socialist Empire in Europe.

Why are you so supportive of the GDPR? It is heavily bureaucratic and is an unwelcome distraction for businesses, particularly the smaller ones.

The GDPR should be first on the list of regulations for the bonfire. Our data protection legislation was perfectly adequate before the GDPR monster was dumped on us.

As for ‘interpretation’, all we do is implement the regulations. Many EU countries only enforce what suits them.

Clearing red tape where it did not exist prior to the EU is not at all difficult. You just take away that imposition.

The biggest problem with GDPR is when the rules are broken and companies are fined the money goes to GDPR and not put into a general tax pot for the people. We see no benefits from the huge fines which many big companies can afford and will simply add those extra costs onto the product which we then pay for.

I don’t think usb-c is going to be a big deal for apple. Most of their new stuff has it anyway. They can introduce it onto the next gen of iPhone no problem, the iPads already have it.

No it's an EU incentive. They have some good ideas but how they are implemented and the punishment for not implementing them is not always good. Apple will most likely abandon cables altogether and use this as an excuse to go totally wireless and may even implement it into their Bluetooth mesh networking which is bad from a privacy and tracking point of view and we all will be part of networking everything like air tags whether we want to or not.
