  • If Farage gets back into politics I'll vote for whoever he jumps in with. Looking like it might be Reform UK

Celebrate it, Anticipate it, Yesterday's faded, Nothing can change it, Life's what you make it

  • In which case they have won because those people who will vote will likely be voting for something they find appealing. By not voting at all you are invisible and voiceless.

The worry I have is that by not voting you will let a party in that will do much worse than this government has done.

  • Oh yes. Just look at Comrade Starmer's time at the CPS. If you think the world is woke mad now, that would be nothing if he got to be in charge.

  • Sadly no we do not have a Conservative Government , at the next GE there is no party on offer that stands a chance of winning that I would be tempted to vote for, Tories are too soft Labour if they win would fail as usual, the Reform Party may take many votes away from both of them, but not enough to win IMHO.

I may just say sod it and don't bother voting

Vote with your heart and head, NOT tactically. REFORM are the way forward for me, and I don't care if it is a wasted vote

The intelligent are being oppressed so the stupid don't get offended

I always have that is why I have never voted for Labour and never will, as for Reform little chance of winning, many people have wasted their votes over the years as they don't bother to vote and don't care about politics or politicians

  • FFS how can you not see Farage for the snake oil salesman he is

He’d promote anything if the price was right

I cannot vote for a party that is hell bent on going hard in the wrong direction. So that rules out Conservative and Labour and anything left of centre.

Other options are spoil the ballot paper or don’t bother voting.

  • Well, if you spoil your ballot paper, that is a completely wasted exercise. You may as well not have gone out to vote in the first place.

Not only that, but you will be letting the wrong ones in. 8|

He is the only one I would trust, the only one who gives a straight answer, and the only leader of any party who is right of centre. The Tories and Labour party appear to be in constant competition for who can be most socialist

I for years have advocated that our ballot paper should have another box that you can tick for " None of the above candidates or party's " and make it compulsory to vote , that way the Politicians will know what the voters actually think instead of just the percentage of those who bother to actually vote

  • That is an option, but they won't know what how I feel about them

I think it’s an interesting option, it would show how many people were disillusioned with politics today , no one would have an excuse not to vote

Yep, agree. It's what they do in Australia. I also believe that in this day an age we should be able to vote on line

Disagree on that one Bibbles. In person voting only, paper voting slips, voter ID, no postal voting and no out of country voting. If you can’t get yourself down to the polling station tough luck, no vote for you. Counting should be done in the polling station so there is no opportunity to augment or adjust voting slips while in transit.

  • Interesting points there, Armitage.

Yes, which is why I would never vote for him, not that I disagreed with him.
