  • I agree, we have had Blairism since Cameron.

I'm voting Reform (unless Farage leads the tories) and if that means Labour get in, so be it.

What makes you think Farage could resuscitate/resurrect the Tories and enthuse a public into giving them another go when it's painstakingly evident that a large proportion of the electorate have lost faith in them?

I mean... let's face it... dear old Nige has never managed to win the argument in a parliamentary constituency let alone a country. How many times has he tried and failed to become a Westminster MP?

  • The MSM will provide as much positive cover for Farage compared to the adverse cover they do for TR.

The media sells everything and the people follow like sheep.

His track record with the Brexit Party is astonishing, as was changing the direction of the UK within the EU. No politician in the Tory or Labour Party achieved what he did.

We have single party politics, Labours policies are 2 weeks behind the tories. Farage makes big changes as a non-Westminster MP, imagine the changes he can make as Prime Minister. He won "plenty of arguments" in his constituency as an MEP.

Really? A list of those achievements wouldn't go amiss. I genuinely can't think of any

  • But what if it’s Boris? The indications are a lot more would turn out and vote for him if he were to stand again.

I would vote Tory if Boris was leader, I like characters, with a bit of Maverick about them.

Bringing a referendum on EU membership and winning it doesn;t go amiss ?

    Really ?

Also handing Boris Johnson an 80 seat majority by standing down his candidates in the 2019 GE.

  • Seems Sunak has abandoned support for Badenoch now.

Further proves what a tosser Sunak is. I think a clear difference between them is good for Kemi. Far worse if a weak man like him says nothing.

...and we're SOOOO much better off as a result. I'm no better off (my pension pot's actually in decline -down about 8% in value over the past 3 years) our beaches are still littered with abandoned inflatables, the same old arguments are still raging and we've got a defacto border in the Irish Sea - some win that is!!

  • Not every bad thing that’s happened is due to Brexit!

We should emerge from our shallow recession soon while Germany is likely to remain in recession. Most of our woes are due to high levels of expenditure on Covid and the impact of the Ukraine war. Neither are down to Brexit.

We are better off, we just have a shit government

His own party stabbed him in the back, and would do so again.

This is the party, let's not forget, that dissented their Membership's choice of leader, assassinated her as well, then appointed their own choice.

The party is sorely in need of root and branch surgery, a clearout of the wets and all those who DARE call themselves Tories but are rubberstamping socialist anti-libertarian policies and wokery, and it won't even begin to happen until they are in opposition.

Our civil rights have gone DOWN in the last 13 years, not up, and that under Tories, and even a period of 'right wing tories' (boris era), so just imagine what a dystopia it's going to become when the Sackless and the Strident get back into power...? If I had the money, I'd emigrate.

"This is the party, let's not forget, that dissented their Membership's choice of leader, assassinated her as well, then appointed their own choice".

    They sure did. Nasty trick.
