Council tax for the 'average' family to rise but inheretance tax to be cut.

We all know who benefits most from the inheretance tax cut while families already stretched to the limit have to find even more from their money to survive!

Tories trying to buy an election win? :cursing:

  • Why shouldn’t they, Stew? We will all live to regret it if we let Labour in now.

  • I don't see Labour doing a worse job.

The Tories have been in far too long and have got complacent, a change is needed.

Rest assured if Labour do get in and make a mess of it I will voice my disapproval of their actions.

The track record of Labour already has proved they can and did do far worse , without even trying

Council Tax has already gone up where I am due the Mayor Khan wanting more money ,

  • The Hard left media , like the BBC, Mirror, Guardian and the Morning Star are hiding the fact that there is a revolution going on within the Labour party. This revolution is set to rend the Party asunder.

Starmer's small team is slowly disintegrating under the onslaught by the Marxists majority, hoping that Corbyn will take over the Labour leadership again..

Will this be good for the UK ? --- Definitely NOT ...

I do hope they continue their internal arguments, I have little faith in the Government at the moment Sunak is trying to keep HMS UK afloat but other buggers are drilling holes in the keel just as fast, Labour would sink us again

  • Perhaps, but I don't see anything but a complete miracle which will reverse their decline.

Because they are there to do what is right for the country and it's people not what is good for them!

maybe they might earn a bit more respect if they governed for all instead of for their class.

That goes for both the big two.

I don’t believe that the answer to an inadequate government is to elect an even worse government. None of them seem to be fit for purpose these days - I despair at the attitudes and incompetence displayed by so many of our politicians.

I shall be voting for the most credible party at the next election, not just voting for another one ‘because it’s time for a change’.

Starmer has made so many wrong calls in his time as Leader of the Opposition that we should all realise by now that he is not the answer to our problems, and in any case he’s likely to be deposed by a Corbynista not long after taking office anyway.

So no, voting for Labour is not the answer unless you really want to know what chaos and indecision looks like.

  • You seem to have a problem with inheritance.

Personally I don’t think it should be taxed at all, regardless of the amount.

Celebrate it, Anticipate it, Yesterday's faded, Nothing can change it, Life's what you make it

  • If it looks like Labour may win the GE , money will flow out of the UK at a fast rate of knots

  • You seem to have a problem with inheritance.

And I think instead of giving a minority extra tax relief on hundreds of thousands of pounds they could have done something to the personal allowance thresholds.

More money in peoples pockets to help with the current financial strain a lot are suffering and more spare cash in the pocket gets spent which bolsters the economy.

I don’t think one balances out the other. If inheritance tax becomes excessive people will spend their wealth or if super rich just leave the country. Then what? You get 100% of nothing. Far better to let people reap the rewards of their taxed wealth rather than stealing it when they die. Don’t you believe in legacy and passing it on to your children?

Nope, they can earn their own money.

There is a need right now for help financially for a majority of people in this country and a change to the personal tax allowance would go a little way to make life a little easier for that majority.

There is plenty of money floating around. There is a underclass that seems to not have much but if you hand them money they will either drink it, smoke it, inject it or get a tattoo. Far better to let people who know what they are doing handle money than try to legalise redistribution. I despise socialism it always fails when it runs out of other people’s money.

  • Easing taxation will help the majority in the UK.. No, it won't help the "Work not Want not" benefits brigade. But encouragement should be given to those who believe in working for a living.

Why not give Reform a chance or even the EDL, or maybe the muslim part of Great Britain, then we could embrace Sharia Law.

Do unto others as they would do unto you, then f**k off before the Police get there. :saint:
