  • Hitler and Mussolini Were Right Wing.

Some of the right claim Mussolini and Hitler were leftists.

    Well I am centre-left,

    I am against the far-right.

I support democracy, peace, stability, and the best of capitalism and socialism.

I would like to point out Hitler and Mussolini admitted themselves they were right wingers.

This is a taken from a speech by Adolf Hitler, April 12, 1921

'There are only two possibilities in Germany; do not imagine that the people will forever go with the middle party, the party of compromises; one day it will turn to those who have most consistently foretold the coming ruin and have sought to dissociate themselves from it. And that party is either the Left: and then God help us! for it will lead us to complete destruction - to Bolshevism, or else it is a party of the Right which at the last, when the people is in utter despair, when it has lost all its spirit and has no longer any faith in anything, is determined for its part ruthlessly to seize the reins of power - that is the beginning of resistance of which I spoke a few minutes ago. Here, too, there can be no compromise - there are only two possibilities: either victory of the Aryan or annihilation of the Aryan and the victory of the Jew.'

So that shows that Hitler saw himself and his ideology as right wing.

Also there is evidence about Mussolini being right wing.

Mussolini wrote in The Doctrine of Fascism, ‘doctrines pass; nations remain. We are free to believe that this is the century of authority, a century tending to the right, a Fascist century’..

So that shows Mussolini saw himself as right wing.

  • I don’t think there is much doubt the Mussolini and Hitler were right wing. However, this debate is so last century… :D

  • Don't know about Mussolini but Hitler's political party were Socialists. That makes him a Lefty.

Mussolini and his Fascists based their ideology from the teaching of Marx , if I recall correctly ,

Hitler destroyed the Unions as he wanted total control he confiscated all their assets buildings and money , all and any that opposed him or he considered they maybe a threat to him, homosexuals were killed

He and his killing machine stated to gas people who were deformed , mentally in the back of vans with the exhaust pipe vented into the back of the vans in the 1930's

The Term Nazi was actually coined in the UK an abbreviation of their full German title

During the years that led to WWII, the word “Nazi” was used as a derogatory term against the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP, translated in English as National Socialist German Worker’s Party.

  • They were definitely fascist. The only thing socialist about the Nazis was in the title of their party, so maybe Hitler himself was confused about what he was!

There is no doubt they were Fascists , just as Mussolini and his followers were they based their ideology on the teaching of Marx, same as Stalin and his thugs he and they killed millions after WW2 the Russians enslaved millions right across the east all the way to East Germany, how many have the Communists killed over the years, Putin is trying to turn the clock back to those days IMHO, add to that China , North Korea,

Where did you get this connection between Hitler & Marx ?

  • Influenced as maybe, but the nazi's were a bastardisation of several ideologies, but it's easy to put labels on especially when we don't like what they stand for.

Say what you like, Hitler was a prize very insecure egotistical cnut. But even he had some great ideas. The German people car the VW Beetle, has to have been one of if not the most popular car of all time. My wife learned to drive in her dad's jeans beetle. It was so popular VW even brought in back temporarily. His mobilisation of Germanys industrial war machine was nothing short of incredible. We deplore it because of what it was created for but by God it was efficient.

Do unto others as they would do unto you, then f**k off before the Police get there. :saint:

  • Typo

You & others say Hitler was influenced by the teachings of Marx

I stated Mussolini and his followers based their ideology on the teachings of Marx not Hitler ,

  • I’m currently listening to a podcast on the Russian revolutions , the Tsar was the last of Europes absolute Monarchs & when he was finally toppled he was replaced by a communist regime which while different was every bit as authoritarian & autocratic.

Russia has never really been a proper democracy

I think this something that we in the West fail to appreciate

Perhaps Putin is more in step with the Russian people give him credit for ?
