Ahhh Mike a squinting white tit. A rare breed in the North East they fly south for the winter. All that's left here now are blue tits and the greater spotted scrounger bird.

I think you are right , they are usually found in the North of England on the moors wetlands hence the long legs and long beak , they are in decline in the UK and Ireland
