  • The fool will probably arrange another invasion of the Falklands.

He said he would only use ‘diplomatic means’!

  • Dunno bout this guy, but 1) vast inflation is enough to drive any electorate to elect any opposition loony if they make wild promises, 2) the leftie media call EVERYONE not on their side 'Far Right' and/or 'Populist' because it suits their agenda.. which is quite disturbing when that same tactic is used by Labour, the Lib Dems, the red rags, the BBC, and Putin.

  • Donald (duck) Trump says he will Make Argentina Great Again so is that MAGA the second :D

If the media is to be believed, he makes Trump look sensible. :|

He's been elected. He does apparently have a serious side and also a pragmatic side. He is apparently skilled at winning people over. But he is also extremely animated and unstatesmanlike.

He has resonated with a large part of Argentina so he is carrying a mandate that many politicians would envy.

He doesn't like socialists so we have that in common.

He has not, as yet, mentioned the Falklands.

But if anyone is likely to just give the order to go an retake them, he would.

However, he says he wants to turn away from all the things that have traditionally dragged Argentina down and the socialists have used Las Malvinas as a distraction to cover for their shortcomings on many occasions.

  • right wing libertarian seems a bit of a contradiction, or maybe just a dick to some.

Do unto others as they would do unto you, then f**k off before the Police get there. :saint:

As Tarragon stated. The media brand anything to the right of communism as Far Right.

I think he is more about small government and light touch regulation than anything.

A classic libertarian is not by definition far right. Ultimately there is little difference between far left ad far right in terms of outcome to the ordinary population.

The political spectrum is more of a horseshoe than and straight scale.

When the phrase "they're already amongst us" was born I don't think it referred to aliens, it was in reference to idiots. They come in all shapes and sizes, nationalities and political status, some even manage to win elections to become a countries president, prime minister or similar. However Argentina seems to have manged it twice in my lifetime.

If he thinks 140% inflation isn't bad enough for his country, another butt fucking in the south Atlantic might teach the gobby twat a lesson he won't forget.

POI - the term libertarian is widely abused, and recently, mostly by their opponents.

It's useful to look up exactly what a libertarian is supposed to be... and the answer is magnificently confusing!

There are apparently 'left wing' libertarians, who have much in common with TRUE Liberals (i.e. not the lib dem lefties we have nowadays), and 'right wing' libertarians who believe more in (don't quote me here, i'm kinda guessing) the kind of libertarianism which is about capitalist free rein unfettered by government interference.

As best I understand it, 'left' libertarians are more about supporting a true free market - that being that the market should be from large numbers of small businesses fairly competing rather than a few mega corporations calling the tune. In that respect it rings true with the messages of Farage's UKIP (once you look past the Leave headlines), but that message was massively drowned out by the Lefties and Remainers tarring UKIP as a 'racist' party in a cynical lie that wanting out of the EU bureaucracy meant they hated foreigners.

Of course, the leftie narrative also loves to call Trumpism 'libertarian' when it is nothing of the sort - Trump was funded and enthralled by vast corporate funding - but it massively suits the leftie agenda to conflate the term libertarian with dangerous loonies like Trump and his acolytes.

America has its own Libertarian Party, which hates Trump and the damage he has caused to their genuine libertarianism.

In short - it's all a matter of lies upon lies... too much Politics for Politics' sake and not enough consideration for the PEOPLE.
